Autism-Focused Dating Coaching
I am an Autistic advocate, behavior analyst, clinical director, and adjunct professor. I have personally experienced the harms of ableism, racism, and flawed social validity related to my own intersectional identities within ABA, educational systems, and society-wide.My own experiences have shaped the fervor of my advocacy and professional efforts. I am committed to identifying and helping to eradicate ableism and racism directed towards Autistic community members in therapeutic settings and beyond. My overall mission being to assist in ensuring Autistic community members are being comprehensively accommodated, accepted, and supported in navigating the world without compromise of their Autistic identity.
The STEP Program, a partnership between local city or county high schools and Stand Up, Inc. is designed to aid participants in learning the necessary skills to become successful in a competitive workplace environment. Through various classroom and hands-on learning experiences, the students will leave the program having learned valuable social skills, interpersonal communication skills, work ethics, safety training, and many other concepts related to the workforce.

The Autism Source resource database is the most comprehensive database of its kind. The Autism Society strives to offer only credible and reliable resources to our constituents, therefore we have employed our nationwide network of affiliates and collaborated with other autism organizations and professionals throughout the U.S. to create the Autism Source database. It is because of these collaborative relationships that the Autism Source Resource Database continues to grow and is kept current with comprehensive resource listings.
Maryland’s Home and Community Based Services Waiver for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder allows eligible children with Autism Spectrum Disorder to receive specific waiver services and certain Medicaid services to support them in their homes and communities.
The Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD) at Kennedy Krieger Institute is a multifaceted, interdisciplinary program serving children, families and professionals in the autism community. The center combines clinical services, research and training programs to unlock the potential autistic children and teens, enrich their life experiences, empower parents and promote the well-being of families through evidence-based practices. One of our major endeavors is developing effective new models of care for families and providers - locally, nationally and internationally.
The Parents’ Place offers a variety of programs and services that continue to support families of children with disabilities and special health care needs. Serving as Maryland’s Parent Training and Information Center and Family-to-Family Health Information Center, Parents’ Place supports thousands of Maryland families each year. Parents’ Place, staffed primarily by parents who have faced these challenges, believes that experienced parents are a key source of knowledge and support to help other families become effective voices for their own children.
