Face Blindness

The layman’s term for Prosopagnosia, a disorder of face perception where the ability to recognize faces is impaired, while the ability to recognize other objects may be relatively intact. While face blindness is not a “core symptom” of autism, it is not uncommon among people on the autism spectrum. Face blindness exists, but is much less common, in people without autism.
